Faith, hope, and love. Music paved the path of the birth of the " link" child. Brothers, a sister, nothing combined, nothing linked them together genetically. A half brother and half sister, with a stepson. Only calling each other brother or sister because they started fro the beginning with each other. Like most prophets, the link would come unknown, but needed and in a blazing glory. How would they've known?
An album changed the lives of these two parents, it brought their tribe, closer together. "Dogman" by King's X, it changed a drummer who picked his family over his career and a mother, who would ultimately lose her parents. The man, Henry, influenced their first, their rocker. With his drum licks and bands' grooves, brought a new breed to family. A boy, who defied them all, who defied even death.
They needed him even if they didn't realize it over the young years. The years of struggles, of opportuities, of missed moments. A daughter the father practically raised himself and her brother, the man's first. The woman who had a boy by a guy she barely knew. This made this tribe feel as though they were in disarray.
The link came on the back of "Dogman". Straddling its heavy riffs and melodic tones. The boy would glow of metal. He would glow of change. He would glow of the future.
It really explains how music has had a huge impact on your life. some of the wording confused me but that is an easy fix. Rock on my black friend.
